Our honeymoon 1st stop : London
14 hours of travelling; this is the furthest I’ve travelled.
Thank goodness we took Emirates instead of SQ, though there’s only a slight difference in price. The transit was very much needed cos I need to take a breather and stretch my long legs!
Our 1st day we did nothing much because I was having a slight fever. We walked around the hotel vicinity and waited for my sister to join us from Loughborough. We had dinner nearby and went to bed at 7pm in the evening.

2nd day : Time to enter the “Battlefield” Oxford street!
We stay very near to Hyde Park so we explored the park a little before walking to Oxford Street.

Our first stop : PRIMARK! Everyone in there seems to be deprived of shopping for years. Some even came with a trolley. When they pay, their baskets were filled to the brim kind. We left with 6 big bags too. Luckily hubb was around to carry the haversack and our shopping loots.

We headed back to the hotel in the evening to drop our loots and went straight to Harrods.

We explored the whole of Hyde Park from 天黑to天暗, it was really huge.

Finally reached Harrods!

Our 3rd day,was more on sightseeing.

The Camden Market. Nothing much there, basically things that you can find in BKK only at a higher price.

Covent Garden. You can watch those shows like Legally Blonde, Wicked etc there.

The Big Ben.

London Eye; from another perspective.

Doing what he does best!.

Last stop of the day; The Chelsea Club!
We took The tube / train to Fulham Broadway station and walk!
Though they do not have any soccer match that day and by the time we reached there, the club had already closed. But the security was kind enough to let us explore the club.

The excited hubby.

Our last day in London!

The London breakfast.

Went to Buckingham Palace and manage to catch a small glimpse of the Change of Guards Ceremony.

Arsenal Club next!

And off to Burberry Factory Outet!
The apparels are pretty cheap, can get those burberry polo T-shirts at abt S$100. Don’t even consider the bags, totally off season! Below pic shows the exact address of the factory outlet.

Our London loots!

In general, the people in London are really friendly, however, best to depend on yourself and the map for directions. We asked a few people the hotel location, where to do tax refund etc, the locals can’t seem to help much.
Overall, I love shopping in London and if there’s a chance we will be back to watch the soccer matches and broadway shows!
Next stop : PARIS!
Ask me anything here!
